Conference Purpose

The purpose of the Wisconsin Tobacco Prevention & Control Conference is to improve the effectiveness of programs and tobacco-free policies. The conference will provide action-oriented strategies that tobacco control advocates can use to create healthier communities.

Conference Participants Will:

  • Build partnerships by exchanging valuable ideas and resources through networking
  • Learn about best practices and emerging strategies and how to apply these strategies
  • Obtain tools and models to apply proven strategies in local communities

Who Should Attend

Anyone working in tobacco control or public health who wants a hands-on skill based conference focusing on policy advocacy, media advocacy, coalition building, and using technology in communication.
